MEPATCH™ CLEAR SG

This product uses low-irritant adhesive. It is a cornea protection tape that causes minimal skin irritation during removal. It is designed to be gentle as it is applied over the eyes.

In the operating room:

For protecting the eyes from chemicals and blood during operation.
For preventing drying and blistering of the cornea during anesthesia.

In the ICU:

For preventing drying and blistering of the cornea during decreased consciousness.

Otolaryngology and neurosurgery:

For preventing drying and blistering of the cornea caused by facial nerve paralysis.

Ophthalmology:

For keeping the eyes closed in cases of severe dryness of the eyes.

Waterproof covering of the eyes

• MEPATCH CLEAR SG is a corneal protection tape that prevents chemicals and blood from entering the eye during operation.

Prevents the cornea from drying out

• MEPATCH™ CLEAR SG protects the cornea by preventing eye opening when consciousness is reduced.
  It protects the eyes of patients under facial paralysis and the eyes of patients with exophthalmos while they sleep.

Minimal pain during removal

• In a questionnaire conducted by our company, 74% answered that they hardly hurt. No problematic pain was observed.

Minimal skin irritation

• No problematic irritation occurred in any cases of actual use (application for 1 to 8 hours, average of 6 hours.)

Sufficient adhesion

• Problem-free adhesion was reported for 97% of cases of actual use (operating room, ICU.)

Minimal stripping of eyelashes and eyebrows

• Approximately 60% of observed use cases had zero hair loss, and 95% of cases had two or fewer hairs stripped during removal.

   Grab the tab in the center and remove "MEPATCH™ CLEAR SG" from the backing sheet.

   Close the patient’s eyes and apply "MEPATCH™ CLEAR SG" with the tag facing toward the patient’s eyebrows, taking care to leave no gaps and wrinkles, ensuring tight adhesion especially over non-flat areas.

   Press down on the patch area to attach it securely.

• Do not use on the wound.
• Remove any moisture from the application area and check that it is dry before application.
• Discontinue use if a skin disorder (rash / redness, blisters, skin peeling, itchiness, etc.) occurs, and treat appropriately.
• When removing the patch, peel it off slowly to prevent skin damage.

• Store at room temperature, away from water, high temperatures, high humidity and direct sunlight.
