"Scar" care tape that can be used immediately after the wound is closed.
A tape that protects "scars" from stretch stimulation, friction stimulation, and ultraviolet light, and prevents "hypertrophic scars" and "keloids." "Scar care" can be easily continued.
Features
- A single piece of tape protects scars from stretching, friction, ultraviolet and other forms of external irritation.
- The tape can be replaced once every five to seven days, so care requires very little attention.
- Two sizes in M and L are available to match up with the size of the scar.
- Uses an adhesive that is gentle on the skin. A tape causing minimal irritation even when worn for long periods of time, and that does not damage the skin when removed.
- This tape is good air permeability so that the skin is less stuffy. It is possible to wear the tape when taking baths.
- Uses a material (polyester woven fabric) that is both resistant to stretching while being flexible, which reduces stress and discomfort.
- The corners of the tape are rounded, "wave shape", that does not easily peel off.
Precautions
Do not reuse the product
- The term “scar” refers to a wound that has closed. This product must not be used on open wounds or on sutured wounds before the sutures have been removed.
- Clean and dry the skin prior to applying. Trim the hair on the area where the tape is to be applied not to damage the skin.
- Do not stretch the tape when applying it, as this may result in skin rashes or the tape peeling off.
- Cease use and consult with a doctor or pharmacist if the product causes a rash, inflammation, itching or other such symptoms.
- Gently peel the tape off from one edge toward the center of the scar while taking care not to damage the skin or scar.
- Store away from direct sunlight in a cool location with low humidity and keep away from the reach of children.
